 "FRIEND and LIKE for HIRE!

The Deaf User’s Manual for an Inevitable Internet Life that No One will Read (2nd Edition) 6-26-2015  © by Federico A. Quintana, M.Ed.

FOR GENERAL READERS: A DEAF Author’s warmly disclaimer: the content inside of article may have a “cerebral-macgyversim-provoking” effect for some readers- not suitable for anyone who cannot deal with the reality or a person who is fragile-booked.

I am an artist, I draw and paint with words to connect things. I can see real changes from all of us first hand. ….. NOTHING you’re NOT familiar with. Maybe I am being too talkative, or maybe I need re-evaluate my eccentrically manners to get your approval to be in your friend list again?
My willingness to do the good deeds hasn't changed a bit since the Y2K famously for unknown mass hysteria. Some do keep an eye on each other, but with a lost skill- we simply forgot how to greet each other like we used to in old "AOL Pager" days. Digital footprints left clues for me and I know. I am here using the social media with a purpose to re-connect with you through meaningful words. I would love to re-connect with some of you.

The culture of cutoff on mobile communications- text or IM or emails.... This is uncool and wondering is that a new thing? ? I dislike it, it is a very rude and lacking the traditions of a good citizen. Are we letting our morals integrated completely with technologies. The Ping Pong effect plays an important role in this, when you cut me off, then naturally I became discouraged too, because I don't want to be one who annoys either, the game goes back to fourth - the cycle is inevitable.

I just came out to the world not long time ago and try to re-organize my long lost pieces and some of it belongs to you as well. Amazing how a blink of time really starting to take an effect as some of us accept the fact of a life long time ago, some not and some no longer are here. God bless their souls, my good ones. Money, Cancer and Death- Using causal words feels more of the original instead of using technical words"#1. Financial, # 2. Health Issues and #3. No longer with us".

1. I can see, know, and feel your presence digitally breathing behind my neck, being a strikingly-friendly - not doing anything, head  tilted towards to the LCD screen, just WATCHING and readily to hit the “like”, “order”, “add-me” to trigger your low activated dopamine level due to the absence of emotional attachments. You're being plugged into the blue and white matrix to mind other people's businesses. I am not much of a motivational speaker - your prospects are right there if you start looking at your own.

Artificially, you're waiting for your own opportunity because you have seen all so good stuff going on in the "Pseudo-Happy World". Some uses FB to mirror their life with the meanings they digitally developed. Financial can be easily deceptive for own gain or anonymous shopping for protection reasons and regretfully draining hard earned money for a pointless addictive app (i.e.- Farmville, Nextflix, etc.), it was engineered for this obvious reasons.

Thanks to the ever-advancing FedEx shipment and the rise of mobile phones, people are serious about auditing and marketing their DNA or blood. A rocker roll college student naively giving up their privacy of bodily fluids to the digital world for a price cheaper than McDonald's. 99 cents "McChicken". Isn’t shame to sell a piece of an entire family heritage information out of you acknowledging it is being shipped somewhere in China? Evolution didn’t happen at during the FedEx days and it took million of years to arrive at this point.

The next thing I know we all are trying to sell our lives to each other in a tiny white & blue white square box. Blaming others for your gain or loss? Trying to protect the semi-value of materialism as I notice money was the obsessive topic from nearly all of my ancient friends.

2. Seeking out to re-connect the old friend and maintain healthier relationships with people I knew. Some went AWOL, some will take weeks to reply past-due questions, some ask for money and some are too busy to talk. The illusrations we created while we are holding the same phone in our hands. This is not a physical issue and this is the point of becoming “Neurological-related” laziness!

Right? We share all have our own struggles, an affair of our personal sorrows, we ultimately forgive and continue to grow. Health Issues shown on social media aren't always revealing a true diagnosis for any purposes. Ideally, health is a personal thing, but increasingly people ditching doctors to rely on search engine for a cure to their life-threatening illness. Possibly a person with Munchausen syndrome doing Catfishing on us.

3. Some see Social media as their safe haven to keep a sense of pseudo-happy world by liking, sharing, exchanging pictures, and a massive collection of ducked-lips selfies. The prevalence of the whole linguistic context shows a rapid declining while all big tech giants in full push for educational reform, here are examples of most humanly possible articulated phrases - lol, IMO, SMH, BYOD, FAED1 (I made it up). All of these effortless texts happen to sneak up one's professional world a shy for scandal attention to satisfy a thirst of the overnight internet sensation. Talking about values of a human's life, a YouTube of a kitten clawing out of the litter virtually got over 6 million of hits OVERNIGHT. A meaningful human communications declined; intelligently or not.. More "likes" the merrier you are. . When someone is no longer with us, she/he is "digitally" alive and people consistently posting pictures or other contents on a wall who actually died 2 years ago. The End of the list...

Metaphorically,. We were issued a limited lifespan.... A group of frowned fishes swimming in a circle beside right each other, but keep passing by (literally like frozen one you saw at the supermarket) with no sense of time, chasing the sunset hook, but in the end fishermen keep throwing them back in the ocean as long they're happy with the count. Good hook like posting to eat up your time and what is your meaning of living like this? .

A hint of my frustration, not a fame one, but a communication one. I never cared the count of "LIKE" and only a little one who really exchanged words that I truly appreciate and at least they knows they exist when time is limited. - One “LIKE”  is  a 100 like to me if you must know, but a word is a 1,000 looks to me in some of your definitions. Even someone's child is injured and grieving, some of you click "LIKE" with an empathy (you forget that they cannot see your face)  as assuming they will get the same interpretation. It's a symptom of  into a strange emotional detachment underlying a neurological problem and  almost everyone are unconsciously affected  since the day they plugged their life into the net.

If you are at the point of understanding that Facebook will NEVER AGE but we do. Hope this will help your life to slow down by taking a screen off and look out there. If you never read this one, maybe you'll live 10-25 years faster, shorter and sweeter!... I was out there for a long time to get us here and not all of my stories successfully uploaded through social media. Therefore, all of three technical words aren't the best tool to judge a picture cover on FB. I would like to see all of us start articulate more words and valuing our time. If you look at all of your group pages, you'll find a lot of fishes looking for the same thing you're doing right now. Hear from you-all soon, no more likes please and use words! I this is also about skills - you're very good at zap a “LIKE” faster than Zeus !
